Pivotal Pilates is a boutique fitness studio in Mechanicsburg, PA focused on helping you cross train for life - whether that's for your favorite sport, keeping up with your kids or grandkids or whatever activities keep you active. 

Through movement you can reduce stress, aches and pains and boost your overall mood, energy and strength. I want you to get excited about exercise and help you improve mental clarity, mobility, balance and stamina with an emphasis on the core strengthening exercises of the Pilates method. Experience workouts that will leave you feeling better equipped to tackle everything else you love to do. You don't have to do it alone. 

 

Your high quality, personalized instruction in authentic Pilates will help you feel muscles you never knew you had and discover the joy of moving with ease. I'm Adrienne.

I know what it feels like to be overwhelmed and overworked and want a do-over on being the best version of you. That's why I do what I do. I specialize in helping women 40+ build strength, set boundaries and feel amazing in their bodies. Whether it's the mom guilt or that of being a busy professional, you are pouring everything into everyone else. I can't wait to meet you where you are, building life-long mind and body connections starting on the mat.

 

New to Pilates or outside that range? You're welcome here. If you value small classes and personalized attention, you'll fit right in.

New to Pilates or our studio

To get the most out of your Pilates practice, new students are encouraged to begin with at least two Private Sessions or three Pilates Foundations classes. These introductory sessions focus on proper form, alignment, and technique, while also teaching you how to use the Pilates equipment safely and confidently—giving you a strong foundation to move effectively and get the most from every workout.

Private Sessions

Private sessions offer a fully personalized Pilates experience designed around your body, goals and movement history. In a one-on-one setting, you’ll learn the foundational principles of Pilates—proper alignment, breath, control, and efficient movement—while being safely guided through all of the studio apparatus, including the Reformer, Cadillac, Chair, and Barrels.

 

Whether you’re new to Pilates, returning after time away, or working around an injury, private sessions provide the focused attention and thoughtful progression needed for lasting results.

Pilates Foundations

The Pilates Foundations class is for anyone who is new to Pilates or wants to move at a slower pace through the beginner exercises with a focus on the fundamentals including detailed explanations on proper body positioning. It may be appropriate for those with injuries, those who are new to this type of movement or those who want to gain a deeper connection to the basic principles of Pilates. See the class schedule for current offerings. 

 

*To support your safety and progress, instructors may recommend private sessions if additional individualized instruction is needed before continuing with group classes.
